Bucky Kavanagh, First Assistant Golf Professional
Francis Patrick “Bucky” Kavanagh has been the first Assistant Golf Professional at PVG&CC since 1978 and an employee of the club since 1970. A former club champion (1977) he is affectionately referred to as the “Mayor of Allamuchy” and serves as the club's historian and goodwill ambassador. Bucky is truly one of the legends of New Jersey Professional golf and largely responsible for the friendly yet professional atmosphere of the club.
Andrew Steffey, Assistant Golf Professional
Andrew Steffey joined the Panther Valley golf staff in the spring of 2008. He turned Professional in 2004 after graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Professional Golf Management. Andrew has worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Apple Ridge Golf Club and Arcola Country Club. He comes to us with extensive experience in both Teaching and Tournament Operations.
David Wolfmeyer, Caddie Master
David Wolfmeyer, Caddie master, came to Panther Valley in 2003 from Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville New Jersey. Since then he has developed and grown a wonderful caddie program giving young men and women their first exposure to golf. He also serves the club diligently as Director of Outside Operations. Known around the club as Wolfie he is always on hand to offer outstanding service and a heartfelt welcome. If you need your clubs regripped or repaired, Wolfie is your man.
