Do I have to be a resident of the Panther Valley community in order to join the Panther Valley Golf and Country Club?
No, you do not have to be a resident of Panther Valley in order to join.

Do I have to be a member in order to use the Club's banquet facilities?
No, you do not have to be a member or know a member in order to use our banquet facilities. Please contact our Food & Beverage Manager, Erik Gudmundsson at (908) 850-0800 for more information regarding holding your event at the Panther Valley Golf & Country Club.

If I leave Panther Valley Golf and Country Club do I lose the initiation fee and Proprietary Certificate that I purchased to join?
When you are invited to join the Club you will pay an initiation fee and you will be asked to purchase a Proprietary Certificate. If you chose to leave the Club, your name goes on the Proprietary Certificate redemption list and the amount you paid for your Proprietary Certificate will be returned to you as soon as possible. The Board of Trustees of Panther Valley Golf and Country Club is committed to reimbursing former members for their Proprietary Certificates as soon as financially practical. If a member leaves the Club with a balance due, all or part of the funds paid for their Proprietary Certificate may be retained by the Club.

The Board of Trustees recently increased the Proprietary Certificate and decreased the initiation fee. The result of this change is that members who join under our newer membership categories will experience a greater return of their initial investment when they leave the Club.

Is there a food minimum?
There is a food minimum, but the term “minimum” is really a misnomer. It is more appropriately called a food “prepayment.” As you purchase food in the Clubhouse, up at the Pool, or at the Halfway House out on the course, the cost of the food you purchase comes out of your pre-payment. Most of our members find that they've already exhausted their food prepayment by mid-summer—which is a testament to the quality of the food and service at the Club. In fact, with the addition of Chef Peter Anderson, we think the quality of our food is among the best in the area!
